Translas continuing to develop its water-cooled MIG torches

At the end of 2011, Translas made an improvement to all its water-cooled MIG torches with a new housing with coated steel spring. This steel spring provides better protection against kinking of the hoses. The water and gas hoses (5x8mm, in red, blue and black) have also already been replaced by a better, very high-end PVC hose.

As of July 2012, Translas will be making another improvement to its water-cooled MIG line.
The current water hose guides will be replaced by a newly designed water hose guide made of TPU rubber.
This will represent a further improvement on the current version, not just in terms of design, but definitely also in terms of functionality.

The design has been adjusted in such a way that the water hoses are even better protected against kinking.
This means that a good flow of coolant will be guaranteed at all times, thus ensuring the optimum performance of the welding torch.
